Description
During this session, CPR protocols will be discussed and to be followed by a future arranged hands-on training class. Students will learn about dental caries and periodontal disease, and how to prevent them. Students will learn how to perform dental charting. Moisture control and isolation techniques will also be reviewed.
To help the student learn more effectively during this session, each student will receive a take home kit that will have a dental model to practice on by placing rubber dams or positioning the suction for improved moisture control. The lectures are a combination of instructional videos and power points rich with illustrations and pictures.
At the end of this session and completion of the hands on portion of CPR class the student will be CPR Certified. The student will be able to learn how to review patient’s records and properly chart existing, or future treatment needed. The student will also learn how to hold the suction and place rubber dam for proper isolation and moisture control prior to patient treatment.
There will be several quizzes and competencies to test the students’ knowledge and understanding of the subject.
All of our students have 24/7 access to their instructor via our exclusive mobile app group to ask for guidance as needed.
